Well, to many people it is a great source of information. Also, Twitter is a great marketing tool and an excellent tool to cover live events.

LIBRARY THING

After touring Library Thing I had no problems to navigate it. I have joined the site and definitely will use it to read reviews and keep track of my books.

ONLINE PRODUCTIVITY TOOLS

I found Google Docs very useful and easy to use.While these applications aren't as complex or comprehensive as MS Office, they have other advantages over traditional software.

The most obvious of these advantages is that the applications aren't tied to a specific computer. There's no need to download and install software on a particular machine. Any computer connected to the Internet can access Google Docs.

I don't think that online tools will replace MS office, because they do not offer everything that MC Office has to offer.

FLICKR/ YOUTUBE

I found both of these sites very user friendly. I like You Tube a lot. I can see music videos, entertainment shows and information videos. You Tube is very easy to search.
Flickr was new to me. After taking a tour, I was able to register an account and placed some pictures there. It is an another tool for sharing pictures with friends and family, as well as finding some pictures of your choice. I believe it is a great site to recommend our customers to.

RSS FEEDS

I had no problems to set up RSS feeds. I think it is quite useful to have all your favorite websites in one place.

GOOGLE UNIVERSE

My personal impression of "Google" is that it is quite an amazing web browsing system. I use”Google" practically every day to search for the information I need and to read the news all over the world. Thanks to our training I have become familiar with some other great things I can do using”Google ". I have downloaded "Google Earth" on my computer at home and was able to show my children the elementary school I was attending in Russia and I think that it is fantastic. It is really difficult to find something that such a wonderful system would not be able to help you with.
I can look at the images and maps, watch movies, read news and articles, perform financing operations and so all. The list of what you can do with "Google" is endless. It is like another virtual world. In conclusion I can say I like everything about "Google " , I will continue using it and definitely would recommend this product to my friends and colleagues.

FACEBOOK

Last week I created an account on Facebook and even found some friends to communicate with. I think that facebook provides you with a great opportunity to socialize with friends and family online. I have already been using a Russian social networking website for some time now. At first I spent too much time socializing with my classmates from school and university, but I have learned to use it in moderation.

WIKIPEDIA

I use wikipedia quite often to get information about subjects I am unclear about. I realise that it is not very reliable and I only use it to get an idea about topics I am interested in. I couldn't find any articles that needed editing.

Delicious:

I found CPL'S "Best Websites " very helpful, I am much more confident using them . It is very convenient to find everything you need in one place.
As a first time user I found it a little confusing to navigate at the beginning.
